Something Blue
Something blue?...The VANCHI MESSENGER NAPPYBAG & ACCESSORIES in SAPPHIRE/EBONY of course!
Our new nappy bags are blue!! They are gorgeous and if I were to have a boy, I'd be trading in my black & red one for this blue one.
Using Asia's finest silk brocades, the Messenger Bag blends exotic glamour and practical necessity. Designed with Mum in mind - this bag has a pocket for everything and enough room to cater for more than one! It features multiple interior and external pockets to separate essential baby items.
Included in the bag as separate accessories are the dummy holder, bottle thermos, wetpack and change mat. There is an internal key clip and an external pocket designed to keep your mobile phone and other essential items close at hand.
The VANCHI Messenger bag has everything you could possibly want in a baby bag and more. An essential purchase for any new mum.

Something Borrowed
Something borrowed...the first thing that comes to mind is the products that other VERY generous companies have given me to use as gifts for my customers. I give out a "new customer gift", a "repeat customer gift" and a "MoshiMoshi Addict gift".
Examples of the gifts customers can receive from MoshiMoshi:
2 gorgeous gift cards from A Piece of Art (RRP$9.90)
A free set of useful fridge magnets (RRP$6.95) from Real Mums.
A pair of earrings from Peridot & a gift voucher (RRP$50.00)
Lipstick cases, chopsticks & much much more
I don't know how many sales have come about from them but I have heard some fantastic responses from customers like "the magnets are too true & sometimes I find myself wanting to hurl them at my husband instead of placing them neatly on the fridge" and "those earrings were gorgeous Gina & my colouring too" and "I loved those orchid cards...where can I get some?"
If anyone else wants to give me products to put in with orders, please let me know. They always are well received by my customers.

Something New
Something New...well apart from a large array of new gorgeous products we have and some new gorgeous gifts for purchasing with us in April, something new is that I have been thinking about trying again for baby #2 around the end of the financial year. tee hee.
I have been thinking that I am rather crazy as I run MoshiMoshi, do freelance graphic design work, work part-time for a medical college as a web publisher and look after a 10 month old and a husband (who is NEVER home due to his job) and a house. I'm sure I sleep somewhere in there...maybe?
Where would a new baby fit in?
I have been thinking of folding MoshiMoshi at the end of the financial year to make room for a new baby...but then I can't let go as Moshi is my baby. I've made more money this last quarter than ever before but with that comes added work which I love but HOW do you juggle that and 2 babies under 2?
Oooh...such a hard decision and every day I make up my mind and then the next day I change it. So confusing...

Something Old
Something old....hmmm...well, I've been looking back at old posts I made on the Business Mums Network Forum and the hopes and dreams I had for the company and how things have changed. I mean I am still following the general direction I always wanted but in a more realistic one way. I mean, common, I thought I'd be selling to all ends of the earth and juggling a baby (with EASE) and would have enough profit to buy a house on Noosa Sound - oh what a laugh - I could probably afford to rent a house for the night on Noosa Sound and not much else. ha ha. But I am happy with how far I've come...
I was also 14 weeks pregnant when I first joined the BMN, which now, as my daughter is 10 months, 1 week & 1 day old, seems like a lifetime ago.
Where did that time go? Life is amazing.

Why I Blog?
I have never had a blog before but decided through the help of the Business Mums Network that I should do one for MoshiMoshi.
I never thought I'd be able to keep it up to date but I have found my Business Mums Network Weekly Challenges quite addictive. I enjoy reading other Blogs as it motivates me to post on mine. For example, I just finished reading olibdesigns "why blog" blog and was instantly inspired to do mine.
So why do I blog, besides the personal satisfaction? To put content out there that may be interesting to others as well as to let those out there know that I am a real person, a real mother, a real wife, a real business person, and not just a baby clothing website.

Recipe Links
I love recipes. I'm one of those people who have about 100 cookbooks all doggy-eared on something I must make. The problem being is that I never seem to get back to it and when I do, I think "eww gosh, what was I thinking?"
Lately I've been finding sites online for recipes that I LOVE!! I only print them if I KNOW I'm going to make them and it seems to be a good system. Some of my favourite recipe sites include the good old Women's Weekly Recipe Finder, Cooks.com and Top Secret Recipes (home to Hard Rock Cafe's pig sandwich & other great rip-off recipes).
I use an online supermarket called Food Direct (as they deliver and carry the groceries up the stairs for me) and recently I found a really yummy recipe on there for Thai Banana Salsa. All I had to do was simply press "order ingredients" and it ordered them all for me so I knew that the salsa ingredients were on their way - no backing out now.
